To Whom It May Concern:
The thought of staying in a nursing home/rehab facility had never crossed my mind.
On July 14, 2010, reality set in after enduring surgery for a fracture femur. My family informed me that my recovery would not be in my home. I would need to be in a rehab facility for extensive physical therapy for the next three months. My family was given three different facilities to choose from, and the decision was made to keep me as close to home as possible.
On July 15, 2010, I was admitted to Lee Health & Rehab. I was in pain, scared and did not know what to expect. After a couple of hours of being at your facility, I felt I had another family. The staff is very efficient, knowledgeable, and most of all, “caring.” They go above and beyond “their call of duty.”
My stay at your facility has been a very rewarding and comforting stay. I could not have asked for better care and love from all I have been associated with.

To the rehabilitation department and to the nursing staff on Stallard Hall of Lee Health & Rehab of Pennington Gap.
I would like to say thanks to each and every one of you for the kindness and excellent care you gave me during my stay.
When I left the hospital I was unable to walk or care for myself. After receiving physical therapy and occupational therapy, I am now back home walking without any assistance and enjoying a normal life again for the first time in a long time.
