LEE HEALTH & REHAB EARNS 2014 NATIONAL AWARD

Lee Health & Rehab Center in Pennington Gap was honored recently with the presentation of a Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the 2014 AHCA (American Health Care Association) National Quality Award Program during AHCA/NCAL’s 65th Annual Convention and Exposition, October 5-8, 2014, in Washington, D.C.

Charles Rehnborg, Director of Operations for Commonwealth Care of Roanoke, along with Bob Ham, Administrator of Lee Health & Rehab Center celebrated with staff members and residents at a reception on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Commonwealth Care of Roanoke is the parent company for Lee Health & Rehab Center.

The AHCA National Quality Award Program encourages continuous learning and helps members increase performance management, planning, training and assessment proficiencies through the standardization of their performance improvement system. Continuous improvement, quality and customer expectations are emphasized. This award demonstrates that Lee Health & Rehab Center is committed to striving for quality improvement and has laid a strong foundation for continuing on to the Silver and Gold levels. Lee Health & Rehab Center was one of 390 centers to receive the Bronze level award.

CCR (Commonwealth Care of Roanoke, Inc.), founded in 2001, currently operates twelve centers in Virginia.  Lee Health & Rehab Center has a total of 110 SNF beds and currently employees 116 associates.
