Pennington Gap, VA-  Lee Health & Rehab Center invites the community to join them in celebration of National Doctor’s Day.

In 1991, National Doctors’ Day was proclaimed by President George Bush to say “thank you” to our physicians for all that they do for us and our loved ones.  The day was marked after the first anesthetic was used for surgery on March 30, 1842.

Doctors have an overwhelming job to diagnose and treat their patients every day. To recognize physicians, their work and their contributions to society and the community, we celebrate National Doctors Day.
