My name is Doug Wright and I have taken Tammie Yeary’s place as Administrator, here at Lee Health and Rehab.

I am originally from Chilhowie and am a graduate of ETSU. Kate and I were married in 2014, where together have 5 children, Jon, Alex, Rachael, Justin and Will. My wife and I, also, have two grandchildren: Katie & Mason.

Jon is a Maintenance Repair Operations Buyer for Scholle IPN in Chilhowie, Va.  Alex is the Finance Manager for M.I.T Corporation in Arlington, Va. Rachael is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and works as Director of Strategic Accounts at TransPerfect Global Inc. in Atlanta, GA. Justin is enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and currently stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. Will is a freshman at the University of South Carolina.

Kate and I have recently relocated to Abingdon from Roanoke, where I have spent the last 29 years in the healthcare field. I am very excited about my time being spent here at Lee and working with this great team of committed & caring individuals. It is truly a blessing to be a part of TEAM LEE and continue the tradition of quality care for all.

I will be assisting Ashley Jones, RN, in the Administrator In Training program, with her becoming Administrator at Lee Health and Rehabilitation in early 2019. I would also like to announce that Rebekah Rutledge, RN, will be assuming the role as the Director of Nursing.
