Congratulations to Kristie Blanken, our February Star of the Month!

She is one of our newest LPN’s at LHRC. Kristie has been with us as a CNA since 2008. She took a leap of faith, enrolled in the LPN program at Mountain Empire Community College and never looked back. Although she states there were some pretty tough times, she is so appreciative of the support she received from her family and co-workers.

Kristie has a bright and infectious smile, and makes extra efforts to see that all patients, residents and staff are having their best possible day.

Kristie lives in Jonesville with her husband Tyler and children McKenzie and Aiden. In her spare time you will find her learning to sew on her new sewing machine, spending precious time with her family and she hopes to learn a second language one day.
