SERVICE EXCELLENCE INITIATIVE PROGRAM

Posted on:

Commonwealth Care of Roanoke and Lee Health & Rehab Center, along with the help of Custom Learning Systems have implemented a program to train in a cross-department atmosphere; to provide a patient-driven culture of compassion which empahasizes working through and with all employees, not around them.

With the current challenges to Healthcare and with the profession evolving so rapidly,  everyone including frontline and leadership, clinical and non-clinical staff must stay ahead of the changes. That is why Commonwealth Care of Roanoke felt just being average is simply not good enough; therefore we must always strive to be the leader in customer care and service.

The Service Excellence Council has been established that includes administration, managers, and employees attending scheduled meetings together to propose and promote positive changes for patients and their families, as well as for employees.

Onsite training, coaching, workshops and service education is geered toward goals to make a difference in the created dynamic collaboration between employees and managers and to facilitate positive changes in  Resident care. This initiative includes all departments having weekly rounds to discuss areas of needed improvement and celebration of positive actions within the departments.

Lee has integrated and engaged in maintaining success on becoming the Facility-of-Choice!
